Audi A7 in India

Even if Audi insist on calling it a sportback, there is no denying the fact the new A7 is actually a five-door hatchback. But a really good looking one at that, very much along the lines of the Citroen CX from the early 1970s. So Audi’s new entrant to the executive class combines rakish coupe lines with five door practicality and classleading efficiency. With an aluminium and steel body that is approx 15 percent lighter than an allsteel equivalent, the A7 at 4.97 metres long, 1.91 metres wide and 1.42 metres high is bigger but lower and much sexier than the A6. There is a choice of two petrol engines and two TDI diesels at launch: the 2.8 FSI with 20obhp and 280Nm and the 3.0 TFSI with 294bhp and 440Nm, the 3.0 TDI with 200bhp and 400Nm and the 3.0 TDI with 240bhp and 500Nm.
